10e Mathématiques

Bonjour et bienvenue!

Nous allons travailler en groupes, et aussi individuellement.  Notre travail sera avec les objets manipulatives, et aussi les problèmes de mots.  On aura les devoirs presque chaque jour, qui seront fait dans un cahier de devoirs.

Vous aurez besoin d’un cartable ou un autre cahier pour prendre les notes en classe, et pour garder les feuilles et les quizzes et les tests retournés.  Vous devez apporter, chaque jour, une calculatrice scientifique, un crayon/stylo, votre manuel, et du papier quadrillé.

On aura un quiz formatif chaque vendredi.  Pendant les classes on fera les investigations formatives aussi.  Les évaluations formatives nous donnent de l’information importante à propos de votre progrès dans le cours.

Hello and welcome!

We will  be working in groups and also individually.  Our learning will happen through problem solving, and use of manipulative tools.  We have homework almost every day.  Homework must be completed in a homework book, a bound notebook.

You will need a binder or another notebook for taking class notes and for keeping handouts and quizzes and tests.  You will need to bring to class each day, a scientific calculator, a pen/pencil, your course textbook, graph paper and a ruler.

Formative quizzes take place each Friday.  Formative investigations will also take place in class.  Formative assessment gives important insight into your progress in the course.
